Six Senses Bangkok to Open in 2028 as a New Chapter for Iconic Narai Hotel in Silom

Six Senses has partnered with Narai Hospitality Group under a hotel management agreement to introduce Six Senses Bangkok, part of Hatai, a forward-thinking mixed-use development on the site of the historic Narai Hotel in Silom. Established in 1968, Narai Hotel pioneered Thailand’s hospitality scene, becoming a key social and business hub that influenced Silom’s skyline and gained popularity among travelers, celebrities, and royalty alike. After more than fifty years of exceptional service and distinctive offerings, the hotel is set to begin a new chapter in collaboration with Narai Hospitality Group, with the debut of Six Senses Bangkok.

The new property promises an intimate atmosphere, offering around 100 spacious rooms and suites that serve as a peaceful retreat from Bangkok’s vibrant energy, alongside wellness spaces and heartfelt, personalized service.

The original wooden structure of Narai Hotel has been carefully preserved and integrated into the interior design, reflecting Six Senses’ commitment to using local, sustainable, and natural materials. A highlight of the hotel will be a 700m² suite and a signature restaurant designed by Joyce Wang, with interiors by Bar Studio, complementing the architectural vision. The space will feature a sky garden connecting the restaurant to a sky lobby, incorporating biophilic design elements.

Guests can relax at the rooftop pool, which offers city views perfect for unwinding after exploring Bangkok. The Six Senses Spa Bangkok will deliver a blend of advanced wellness technology and personalized treatments, along with holistic programs, mindful sleep initiatives, nourishing cuisine, and authentic community engagement.

Set to open shortly after the 60th anniversary of Narai Hotel in 2028, Six Senses Bangkok will honor the legacy of its historic predecessor while marking an exciting milestone for both the hotel and the city.

This development will be one of two hotels at Hatai, which will also include premium retail, dining, and community spaces spanning nearly 6,000m². Alongside Six Senses Bangkok, the brand’s other Thailand properties include Six Senses Samui and Six Senses Yao Noi, in addition to international locations such as Rome, Kyoto, London, Milan, Lisbon, Dubai, and Tel Aviv.
