The Andaz Miami Beach has officially opened, marking the brand’s debut in Florida. The hotel is a complete transformation of the former Confidante property.

Designed by EoA Group in collaboration with Hyatt Lifestyle Group’s in-house design team, the revamped hotel reflects the spirit of Miami’s oceanic beauty. It features flowing, undulating curves replacing rigid lines, with color tones of aqua, mint, turquoise, and sage paying homage to Miami’s Art Deco heritage, Hyatt stated.

The Andaz Miami Beach offers 287 rooms, including 64 suites, along with two heated outdoor pools with private cabanas, a spa, a members’ beach club, and three restaurants operated by the Jose Andres Group. The Mediterranean-inspired Aguasal aims to transport guests from Miami to the scenic shores of Mallorca and Mykonos. Bar Centro serves Spanish tapas-inspired dishes all day, and the highly anticipated Bazaar by Jose Andres is set to open in 2026.

Guests are welcomed into an elevated lobby with panoramic ocean views. True to Andaz’s signature style, there’s no traditional check-in desk; instead, guests are seated and personally greeted with a cocktail upon arrival.

The resort’s private beachfront features lounge chairs, umbrellas, and daybeds for guests’ relaxation. A new Ondara Spa, perched on the fourth-floor terrace, will offer a relaxation lounge with views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Spanning 25,000 square feet, the hotel’s event space includes two oceanfront ballrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and seven meeting rooms. The swimming pool boasts a hydraulic floor system that can be raised to create a solid surface for outdoor events.
