Korean Air Recognized as Best Airline at Global Traveler Awards

Korean Air has been awarded the title of Best Airline Onboard Service in the 2024 Global Traveler GT Tested Reader Survey Awards. The airline also earned the distinction of Best Frequent-Flyer Award Redemption for its SKYPASS loyalty program.

In addition, Korean Air performed admirably in various categories, securing second place for Best First-Class Seat Design and third place for Best Airline Cuisine, Best Business-Class Seat Design, Best Flight Attendants, and Best Airport Staff/Gate Agents.

Global Traveler, a luxury travel magazine based in the U.S., conducts this annual survey to highlight top performers in the travel industry. Readers from both its print and online platforms cast votes across categories related to airlines, hotels, and travel services.

This year’s recognition adds to Korean Air’s extensive history of accolades. In 2023, the airline was honored with awards for Best Airline Cuisine and Best Business-Class Seat Design, reflecting its ongoing dedication to exceptional customer service and innovation.

Korean Air attributes its success to its passenger-centric approach, providing comfort and innovation through outstanding onboard services. The airline’s flight attendants are known for their professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring a smooth and inviting travel experience for all passengers.

On long-haul flights, passengers are treated to two substantial meals, snacks, and unique offerings like Korean-style vegan dishes inspired by traditional temple cuisine. The airline also boasts a comprehensive in-flight entertainment selection, featuring movies, TV shows, and music to cater to a range of preferences. Moreover, passengers can pre-order specialized meals, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and child-friendly options to accommodate various dietary needs.
