Norse Atlantic Airways is set to launch a new route from Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport to Bangkok for the winter 2025-26 season.
This initiative will mark the airline’s debut in the Swedish market, with flights scheduled to commence on October 29, 2025. The Stockholm-Bangkok service will operate twice a week using Boeing 787 Dreamliners, configured with 338 seats across both premium and economy cabins.
Norse Atlantic already offers long-haul flights from several European cities, including Oslo, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome, and Paris, primarily to destinations in North America. The airline recently introduced a London-Cape Town service last month and is planning a new route from Rome to Los Angeles in the summer of 2025.
“With our entry into Sweden and the launch of the Stockholm-Bangkok route, Norse Atlantic Airways is transforming long-haul travel and challenging a market that has long been led by traditional carriers,” said Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic Airways.
“This new route provides travelers with a premium yet budget-friendly option on one of the most sought-after long-haul connections.”
Jonas Abrahamsson, president and CEO of Swedavia, the operator of Arlanda Airport, added: “There is significant confidence in Sweden’s air travel market, and Norse’s commitment to a direct route from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International clearly reflects this. Norse will play a vital role in connecting Sweden and Thailand.”
