Etihad Airways, the Middle Eastern carrier, has unveiled plans to expand its international network from its Abu Dhabi hub with the introduction of 10 new routes.
The newly announced routes include Algiers, Atlanta, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Krabi, Medan, Phnom Penh, Taipei, and Tunis, set to launch between July and November 2025.
The inaugural route will be Abu Dhabi-Atlanta, which will operate four times per week starting from July 2. This will be followed by the daily Abu Dhabi-Taipei route commencing on September 8.
In early October, Etihad will introduce flights to Medan in Indonesia (three times weekly), Phnom Penh (up to five times weekly), and Krabi in Thailand (daily). The final set of routes—including Abu Dhabi to Tunis (three times weekly), Chiang Mai (four times weekly), Hanoi (daily), Hong Kong (five times weekly), and Algiers (four times weekly)—is scheduled to commence in early November.
These 10 new destinations complement Etihad’s previously announced flights to Prague and Warsaw in 2025, along with increased frequencies to various European cities next year.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad, stated, “This expansion reflects our commitment to listening to our valued guests. We have carefully selected cities that offer experiences, adventures, and opportunities that are meaningful to them.
“Launching 10 new destinations in a single day underscores our firm dedication to enhancing our airline with a robust route network and exceptional, customer-centric service.”
